Duties:
- Oversee and manage the nursing department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Develop and implement nursing policies, procedures, and protocols to maintain compliance with regulatory standards.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff, including recruitment, training, and performance evaluations.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nursing programs and make necessary adjustments to improve patient outcomes.
- Ensure effective communication between nursing staff and other healthcare professionals.
- Schedule and maintain schedule for all Nursing staff, be on-call in case of nursing staff does not show for work.
- Stay up-to-date with advancements in nursing practices and technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required; Master's degree in Nursing (MSN) is a must.
- Valid state nursing license.
- Proven experience as a Director of Nursing or similar leadership role.
- In-depth knowledge of Medicare regulations and compliance requirements.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to make critical decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities.
